meeting Ampalaya for the first time

Ampalaya (prepared and sliced)
I was used to see an Ampalaya (Bitter melon, Bitter gourd,) scientific name: Momordica Charantia as sliced and ready to cook. This is a green vegetable that tastes so bitter but its health benefits are truly amazing. But here in Saudi, I am able to see the whole of it. I have confessed this because I was shocked with its form. I don't have any idea that that is the true form of this vegetable. Back then in the Philippines we buy Ampalaya inside a plastic and the vendor will be the one to clean it and slice it for you. In contrast, here in Saudi it's totally a different thing. They sold their vegetable in raw so you really need to prepare them so you can eat them.

For all days in my life I was not able to see it naturally. In a normal day we ate that with a mixture of eggs though it is still bitter but the taste is good enough. In preparation, you should put some salt in the sliced Ampalaya and mix it together squeezing the vegetable so it will release its liquid green content. This content is the concentrated sugar reducer element so better squeeze it not too hard so it will have it health benefits to you.

Ampalaya's true form
The right picture shows its true form. And take note! I am only able to see this here in Saudi. I came to discover that this frightening appearance of the vegetable that I used to before. With its blood reducing effect, its leaves used to treat cough and diarrhea, seeds & roots acting as analgesics, its and juice that relieves scabies and other skin inflammatory disease. I am just sharing how I found this unique formed vegetable, being ugly outside but true inside. Which most people has today, let us show ourselves not as bitter as it taste but as good as its benefits. ! Cheer up and live life to the fullest!

Energizer bunny and its legacy

Unstoppable drumming bunny
Tick, tack...tick. Our wall clock suddenly stopped, but good part is I woke up early with my cellphone alarm! Huh, almost. I checked it and seems to be ran out of battery, its current brand is hmmm. I don't want to announce it because it is really embarrassing.  You know that made in China batteries? hehe. Then that's it. Looking at it, it had only worked for 3 months then we need to find replacement. That reminds me of the non stop Energizer bunny from the advertisement.

I was a child when I first saw that. If I can remember, I am at my 02grade level in elementary. I always laugh when I see that because of its untiring action. Keeps going, and going, and going. Until now the legacy continues as Energizer bunny takes it to it its future step and is still going and going. The first Energizer bunny appeared on 1980's with a premier of bunny's drumming together and one drummer wasn't invited and that was the birth of the battery legacy. Later part, they have released many series of the same bunny who runs out no time to rest and still going and going. To the Olympics, to the desert, to the streets and anywhere.

I truly admired the advertisement message of this as it really pictures out and represent its use. The said advertisement was then used by other resources and with the big companies today. No wonder why this has been so famous, with the pink bunny who is so cute and his unstoppable drumming.

Its obvious that it has gotten the face of the public. I wish I could buy an Energizer bunny oops I mean a brand battery here in Saudi.
